Devils Player Announcement

The Cardiff Devils approached us recently with an idea to shoot at announcement video for defence-man Mark Louis who was returning for the 2019/20 season. The idea was formed around a bet that was made between a Devils fan and Mark's mum at the EIHL Playoff weekend in Nottingham in April. 

The bet was for Baz, the fan, to get a tattoo of "Louis 4" if the Devils won the Playoff title. Cardiff went on to beat Belfast 2-1 in the final.

The club arranged with Studio 14, a tattoo studio in Barry, to do the tattoo and unknowingly to Baz, Louis would arrive to surprise him and announce that he's re-signing for the club. 

It worked perfectly. Baz had no idea Louis was going to be at the studio so the reaction we captured was completely genuine. 

We love being part of these projects and, with more players to announce, we're hoping to be involved in a few more.
